Mental Health – It’s Good To Talk…

I am passionate about mental health.  I feel that we are only really scratching the tip of the iceberg, with more and more young men and women suffering from anxiety and depression we seem to be regressing.  Our young people need our help.

Mental health issues are not only just fo the young, I know many people of my age (50’s) who struggle.  Particularly when “life” issues have hit hard.  It is so important to talk about your experiences and free them from your sub-conscious.  I myself, never had counselling until I was 49 years of age.  In retrospect, many years too late as it felt like I had just a stream of conscious for which there was no tap.  Burying negative experiences can result in poor health, poor self-image, low self-esteem, weight issues, depression and even suicide.

My life experiences have given me the learning I need to fix myself and the last three years have been an amazing time of learning and growing, learning and growing.

I know what I have brought into my own life – the changes I have made – to help myself get back on track and not be dragged down forever and some of them are pretty funny – like singing, or walking, or clubbing or connecting with old friends.  Whatever takes your fancy but let’s talk about what makes you tick and see if we can have you ticking over like a well-oiled machine with all the zest for life you should be experiencing.

If you are feeling out of sorts and not sure what to do or where you fit in, why not drop me an email or give me a call and let’s have a chat over a cup of coffee.
