ROYAL WEDDING – IT’S ALL ABOUT THE LOVE

You may, or may not be a royalist, but in any event we all love a wedding.  It’s great to check out the dresses, the location, what food is going to be eaten, who are the guests etc.  And of course, it’s about two people coming together who love each other very much.

In case you had not heard there is a special wedding this weekend – the marriage of the gorgeous Prince Harry to his love, Meghan Markle.

So if you haven’t made any specific plans, how about making a day of it and finding a location around you where the event will be shown life? Here are my suggestions for a jolly good day;

  • Get yourself ready as if you were going to a wedding (beautiful dress, shoes, etc.) – go for it!
  • Pack a picnic including champagne or prosecco.
  • Take a picnic blanket.
  • Tell your partner you love them (as if you don’t do every day anyway).

Here are some of my ideas for the Royal wedding celebrations –

RINGWOOD, HAMPSHIRE – a special event is in the pipeline for Ringwood, including a big screen in the market place with beer tent, champagne bar and hog roast – www.thenewforest.co.uk

REGENTS THEATRE- Christchurch, DORSET – phone 01202 499199 – www.regentcentre.co.uk

BOURNEMOUTH – Banque & Bohem are showing the royal wedding – complimentary buffet and Pimms for just £5.00 a head!  No entry fee – just turn up and enjoy.  For other events in Bournemouth go to www.eventbrite.co.uk to check out what is on!

WINCHESTER, HAMPSHIRE – everyone is welcome to join Winchester Cathedral on Saturday 19th May to watch the Royal Wedding ceremony in style on a big screen in the surrounds of the stunning Cathedral nave.  The screening will take place between midday and 1pm.  There will be other celebrities close to the area and family fun entertainment.  Free tickets for the Royal wedding are available from the cathedral’s box office. www.winchester-cathedral.org.uk – phone: 01962 857200

PORTSMOUTH, HAMPSHIRE – enjoy high tea at the Spinnaker Tower.  Taking place on the Saturday and the Sunday – please contact Emirates Spinnaker Tower to book – www.spinnakertower.co.uk

NEW MILTON, HAMPSHIRE – the Chewton Glen will be serving a sparkling lunch with traditional English Garden theme and will have live coverage of the event. Places must be booked by contacting the hotel on www.chewtonglen.com – phone: 01425 282212

So get your hair done, put on your best dress and whatever you decide to do – ENJOY!

Harry’s always been my favourite of the Royal family and I’m very happy that he’s found the girl of his dreams. They will make a special couple I am sure.

With love,
