These two simple statements changed my life and my size:
Paul McKenna’s take on Diets – “they do not work”
Billy Connolly’s weight loss advice – “eat less, move more”
And here’s one from me!
If you truly want to lose weight do not keep the “fat sizes” in your wardrobe for the “just in case” situation. You will never lose weight or indeed, be serious about your intention to lose weight, if you still have the “fall backs”. When I got to 13.5 stones, one of the best things I ever did was to get rid of all my size 16 clothes. Every single piece went – I made sure that my wardrobe only contained size 12’s and 14’s. If I start to find that anything is tight and I am struggling, I simply focus on losing the weight that I need to lose quickly in order to feel good. For me, putting the weight back on, when I have previously worked so hard to change my shape and size, is simply not an option (think of the money you waste as well).
Do not just take my word for it though. If you read the personal development books like I do (The Secret etc) it’s all about intention. You need to start thinking that you are already the size you want to be thus putting out a positive affirmation. You are slim, you are sexy, you are gorgeous.
If you need my help, just ask!
