24th January 2018 : Milford on Sea Positive Living group

Psychic medium Lynn Hooper

Not sure if this is of interest but I am a member of both Highcliffe Positive Living Group and Milford on Sea’s group both of whom have an active events page.

9th February 2018 : Let’s go to the Cave

Let’s go to the Cave – one of the best bars in the area – so friendly and they serve a cheeky G&T too if you don’t mind.  As long as I have numbers I can work out logistics – again if there’s enough of us we can do a mini bus from one location to help ease the way.

11th February 2018 : Wilkinson at O2 Academy.

I am a bit of a raver on the quiet (or on the loud) and I love DJs across all genres. Wilkinson is a bit of a dude and has appeared at many music festivals - If anyone fancies joining me?

Wilkinson
When / Saturday 17 February 2018

Having dominated stages at festivals all summer, dance DJ Wilkinson will be hitting the road for a headline UK tour in January. Best known for his club anthems such as ‘Afterglow’ and ‘Sweet Lies’, there’s no doubt that his live performance, complete with full band, will be something to remember.

4th March 2018 : Jazz Café

Walk along the sea-front from Bournemouth pier down to Sandbanks.  Eat in the Jazz café and then head back.  Nice long walk.  The Jazz café is a bit manic but it’s fun – the food has always been good.

18th March 2018 : Hengistbury Head

Swift walk from Boscombe to Hengitsbury Head (early am) before heading back and grabbing brunch probably at Bistro on the Beach.

30th March 2018

It’s my birthday the day before so leave the Friday flexible and I will organize something fun.

7th April 2018 : Winchester

Trip to Winchester on the train – tour around the city followed by lunch at one of the many eateries – Rick Stein, River Cottage, Cote, The Ivy (opening soon) etc or even just the lovely Greens which I love.

23rd April 2018 – Odeon Bournemouth

Cinema night – let’s see what’s on and go see it.

11th May 2018 : Arbor Bournemouth

Arbor – the new hot restaurant in town

24th May 2018 : Cote Brasserie

I love the Cote Brasserie and this one is getting very good reviews.  Nice informal meal and a good old chin-wag and catch up

11th June 2018 : Bournemouth Pavilion

Derren Brown is at the Pavilion – his act is Underground. Having seen him before he is amazing.

Direct from the West End, the multi-award winning master of mind-control and psychological illusion returns to amaze and enthral audiences with his latest smash hit show.

21st to 24th June 2018 : Isle of Wight Festival

Isle of Wight Festival - Could go for the one day?

I did go a few years ago – and really enjoyed myself – but I am going to Bestival next year so wonder if anyone would like to go for just one day?  It promises to be a “killer” year as The Killers are playing – probably one of the best bands out there right now. Wow!

21-24 June 2018, Isle of Wight, United Kingdom
Isle of Wight Festival, one of the UK's most famous rock and pop music festivals, returns next summer with another star-studded lineup. Kasabian, Depeche Mode, The Killers and Liam Gallagher will be headlining the family-friendly festival, which last year attracted 58,000 music lovers.
