Go for a walk. Walking is not only good for you on a physical basis, breathing in that fresh air, engaging with others, the feeling of aching limbs; it is also brilliant for giving yourself a big talking to. In my dark night of the soul which went on for a few years, I found myself going for a walk at the strangest times of days and in all sorts of weathers.  I simply wanted to ‘clear my head’ and it worked. I did!
