I was with a client the other day, and we were discussing methods of calming the mind. We talked about meditation and I said that although I could never master sitting and clearing my thoughts, I meditated in a different way by walking in silence or even sometimes sitting at home in silence.
As we paused, both pondering the merits of meditation, I suddenly giggled.
“Well of course, sometimes the only solution is to stick on some banging house music, pour yourself a gin and tonic and dance yourself dizzy around your house”, I said. We both laughed….
Sometimes, you just must do what your soul cries out for!
