The mainstream media has done a good job on everyone. Every headline created to induce a fear state. The best thing I ever did was to stop watching the news or reading newspapers in 2013; remember bad news sells and I like to think for myself without the constant bombardment.

But here’s the skinny about fear from someone I have followed for a very long time, Dr Christiane Northrup –

“We are born with only 2 fears — the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises (your “acoustic reflex”). Despite having only these 2 fears, studies show the documented number of human fears is closer to 7,000. Fear is an adaptive behaviour. Too much fear or anxiety on a regular basis can be the root cause of illness, both psychological and physical. This is true because the biochemical state that fear creates in your body adversely affects your immunity and increases your susceptibility to viruses and bacteria that are all around you. Most people have the bacterium that causes pneumonia in their respiratory system at all times, but it stays in check until your vibration is lowered in some way. Over time, the hormones associated with fear and anxiety can wreak havoc on your body, mind, and spirit.”

I used to live in fear.  The only fear I have left is the fear of not living my life to the full. Who wants to join me?
