Many of us are guilty of living in the past. We either dwell on what did or did not happen or simply dream of those halcyon days of our youth.

The other day I found myself looking at pictures of myself with a slim tanned body, legs up to my arm pits, amazingly thick hair.  But then I quickly put those photos away – what is the point in dwelling in the past.  Far better you remember the now and set goals for the future. Far better you say gratitude’s for who you are now not who you were.

Me? I love being who I am now, I have no wish to go back, gosh, no thank you.  Embrace your age, your size, your hair, your teeth, your attitude. Be yourself and love yourself.  Pack away those photos and never let them see the light of day!
