We hear a lot now about Visualisation and of course, making a vision board is popular now. But perhaps, like me, the thought of getting creative takes you back to your school days of Copydex in one hand, tongue firmly placed outside of the mouth, as you cut and paste pictures you’ve cut out of a magazine?  I always seemed to get more glue on my sleeve than anywhere else.

As it so happens, I’m a big fan of visualisation and I believe it works. I’ve ‘created’ many visions in my life which have come true. You see, I always had my eye on the future and what I wanted to achieve.

At the age of 12, I sat in front of the Daily Mail (Prestige Secretarial and PA jobs in London) and circled the jobs I liked the sound of.  In 1989 at the age of 24 I moved to London to become a PA.

At the age of 21, I went to California on holiday. I used to daydream about living there and what it would be like.  I loved Los Angeles and I truly saw myself living there. I moved to Venice, California, in 1999 and lived there until 2002 with my ex-husband.

Your thoughts are powerful – very powerful!

Put your thinking cap on.   What do you want in your life? Describe everything in detail. Maybe the man or woman of your dreams? What does he/she look like? How does he/she smell? How does he/she treat you? What’s his/her music taste? What are your dreams, your inspirations? What car do you long for, where do you want to live?

Many of my clients long to move past their clutter but quite often, do not know where they want to go.  By creating a Vision Board, you can create a vision of the life you want and simply put, it gives you something to aim for.  After all, every invention came from a thought, from a dream, from a vision.

Start with what you want to achieve in the next six months. Goals are important – they keep us moving forward.

Keep on striving to be the best version of you, reach for the Prit Stick and get creating.  You’ve got a life to live.

With Love,
