When my clients approach me to help them declutter, I often sense a need to declutter quickly. In my view, sometimes too quickly. I rarely like to encourage my clients to declutter items that they may later regret. That does not mean the decluttering session takes forever, simply put you rid yourself very quickly of the dust, the paperclips, the debris, empty plastic bags, used bus tickets ad Infinitum but take a little more time discerning what stays and goes when it comes down to memorabilia and even clothing.
If your home houses a mountain of clothing, starting room by room, drawer by drawer, is the best way forward. Being honest with yourself, and asking yourself the questions, “does this make me feel good, does it suit me, does it fit me”.
